What were your feelings on Nadal beating Federer and about him winning two titles in a row.

I personally loved that after so many years of Nadal trying to beat Federer on grass he has succeeded. This was the best game that I have seen in my 10 years of tennis.

  1. i kinda of was rooting for the both of them. personally i like federer better, because he really has gotten the textbook tennis down, he shots are so perfect, while nadal kinda of just has extreme athleticism. i did want nadal to win because he had never won, yet i wanted federer to continue his dominance and redeem himself after the australian and french open loses. i think federer right now is kinda at a fork where he could let these loses lower him, or he could use these and push himself to the next level. nadal on the other hand could maybe last a few more years, but the way he plays, his body can't support it.

overall i thought the match was one of the most amazing matches i have seen in a lllloooonnnggg time

  2. I believe Rafa is on the uphill climb while Roger is on the downhill as well.

  3. Definitely the best match that I have seen.

Nadal definitely deserved to win that match having come close so many times.

  4. I was really shock and surprise to see federer lose to nadal on a grass court which is a shock to see and nadal beating that was a surprise big surprise but im happy for nadal that he finally beat federer

  5. It was amazing. I'm a Nadal fan so I was obviously rooting for the Spaniard. However, I was glad for the rain break. I didn't like the first two sets. Rafa seemed to win them too easily in my opinion. That why I loved the fifth set so much. It featured both men playing their best and it was so close, which made it even more compelling.

Definitely wiped away the horror that was the French.

  6. as a nadal fan, i was delighted for rafa yesterday, and found myself getting teary eyed as he lifted that elusive trophy for the first( and hopefully not the last) time................ however, it was truly the most stunningly thrilling, and gripping tennis matches ever seen, and i did feel quite sorry for federer. after all it was soooooo close, and he really did give as good as he got. But that's life and all that remains to be said now is VAMOS RAFA!!!

  7. i dont think u may find better match then this

  8. Nadal is a deserving champion. Yes, I am a Federer fan, however, Nadal was undoubtedly the best player at Wimbledon '08. The final was incredible. Nadal's plays and shots throughout were the best that I have seen this game produce ever. Federer was outstanding as well, but it was Nadal who took the cake. I never remember watching any sporting event and being on the edge of my chair, jumping up with joy and seeing such unbelievable displays of pure talent. Congrats to both, especially to Nadal, for reinventing the game of tennis as we know it.
