Question:

Wimbledon queueing?

If I want to get tickets for the Wimbledon Mens Quarter-Finals next Wednesday, what time would I have to start queueing on the tuesday to get Centre court tickets? I understand that there are 500 of these available.

Would queueing from early tuesday evening e.g. 6-7pm, ensure that I get centre court tickets, or do I need to be earlier?

  1. You've got it about right. If the weather is glorious, than maybe 5pm as the crowds will be forming. If the weather is filthy than 7/8pm is okay.Watch it on telly, and go tomorrow or wednesday,as all outside courts will have singles matches on them

  2. Failing that you could try this old trick - take an elderly relative with you. Get them to pretend to pass out in the queue. Everyone focuses their attention on poor old elderly person - you jump to the front of the queue and hey presto. You don't wait long and tickets for both you and grandad/nan etc.

    Enjoy!

  3. try to get there earlier because thats the time i started queueing and i was about 20 people away from centre court tickets.good luck

  4. i would go asap...
