Wimpole Hall: What is the long "lane" of land that heads south from it - theres like a hill or mound half way

Its not the avenue because theres no road - its like a serise of long fields flanked by trees then there is a round mound in the middle of it

Not sure about the mound, but I think it was there so they could ride their horses up and down it, or walk up and down and still be in view of the house.
