Hi. I'm having modem problems on a computer I just assembled. Asrock 775i65G motherboard, Intel Celeron 3.2 Ghz cpu, 512 Mb DIMM...Win 98 SE, Trendnet TFM-PCIV92A modem (says 98 SE compatible). I have one yellow question mark in Device Manager...on PCI System Management Bus. Neither my Win 98 SE, Asrock mb install, or modem installation CD's have drivers for it. I couldn't find any on Asrock's website & MS doesn't seem to support 98 SE anymore. Device Manager shows no interrupt request conflicts on the modem & says "This device is working properly", but System Properties says "PC Cards (PCMCIA): No PC Card Sockets are installed". Am I right that it doesn't know that the modem card has been plugged in??? I think I'll try another PCI socket & see if that makes a difference. Where can I find a driver for PCI System Management Bus? Should I just give up & get XP or Vista instead? LOL Thanks in advance!
