  1. 1.AB parallel to EF and arc EC congruent with arc DF.

    therefore, AB parallel to EF parallel to CD, and arc AC congruent with arc DF. if arc AC measures 150 degrees so does arc DF. Therefore the total of arc AB and arc CD is equivalent to 360 degrees MINUS arc AC and arc DF which is 105+105=210 degrees. AB is twice CD. So assume CD measures y degrees. AB measures 2y degrees. The total of AB and CD will be 3y OR 360 - 210 = 150 degrees = 3y

    150 = 3y

    y = 150/3 = 50

    CD measures y, therefore CD measures 50 degrees!

    2. This one is simple.

    When there is an interjecting line between two parallel lines, the two alternating angles will have the same measurement. in this case arc BC or angle BAC and ACE. (refer to the diagram in the question) since CE is the bisector, angle ACE can be calculated by 110 / 2 = 55 degrees.

    Angle ACE = arc BC or angle BAC

    therefore arc BC measures 55 degrees..

    3. this one is a bit long to explain. the answer is 3 units but if you want the solution i can email it to you. :)
