Question is exactly like title. What does win in 6, or 3, or 2, etc. mean? spare me.

Alright.  Well in the playoffs in hockey, there is a best of 7 series.  Winning in 6 means that they won in game 6 of the 7 by winning 4 games.  Here is an example: The Penguins will beat the Red Wings in 6.  This means that the Penguins will have won their forth game after game 6.  There you go.
