  1. After 6 games of seven the Redwings will have won the most out of the seven scheduled games.

  2. Each round in the playoffs consists of 7 games, therefore it's the first team to win 4 games takes that series. However many games it takes for one team to win 4 games is the number that your asking about.

  3. Well...that means that the team has won the match in X games.

It depends on what format your using like best of 3 or best of 7 or best of 5.

  4. It's a best of seven series, so if team A wins 4 and team B wins 1, team A wins in 5. If Team A wins four and B wins 2, A wins in 6.

It takes four wins to win the series, the phrase refers to how many games in the series it takes for somebody to win.

  5. Alright.  Well in the playoffs in hockey, there is a best of 7 series.  Winning in 6 means that they won in game 6 of the 7 by winning 4 games.  Here is an example: The Penguins will beat the Red Wings in 6.  This means that the Penguins will have won their forth game after game 6.  There you go.

  6. it means win in the sixth game out of the 7 that are played, so in this case, the sixth game will equal the fourth win, of a best of seven
