Is it possible? I tried the "connectcomputer" routine from the server web page and a message came up saying that I cannot connect XP home using this script.

  1. You cant connect a XP home computer to a domain. You can still access resources on the server but you will be required to enter a username and password each time.  There are a few sites that describe how to get around the password issue though I haven't tried it. There was also a old version of TweakUI that made it possible for a XP home machine to join a domain but Microsoft removed. You might be able to find one somewhere.

  2. Windows XP Home Edition is unable to join a domain. You will need to upgrade to Windows XP Professional Edition or Windows Vista Business Edition.
