Wind Energy??♥?

What are the good points about wind energy and what are the bad points of it???? Plz help its for a report due 2morrow!!!!! Thnx♥

Good

- Will always be around

-Zero emissions

-equipment pays for itself with the electricity it creates

Bad

-Inconsistent (some days arent windy)

-Limit to amount of electricity that can be produced

- Some less windy locations wouldnt be useful

- Small issue of birds being killed by wind turbines (PETA gets wayy too angry about this one because the turbines arent any more dangerous to birds than a large building.

Good:

-renewable energy

-enough wind available to meet energy needs

-turbines don't cost that much to put up and don't need much maintenence

-doesn't take up that much room

-no air or water pollution

Bad:

-visual pollution (people think turbines are ugly)

-noise pollution

-they may interfer with migratory birds or birds of prey

good > renewable , clean(no emissions), not as expensive as solar, works in the night (not solar) , could be put in the sea, used in old mills to grind grains , pays for itself as the price of energy increases.

Bad> noisy , takes up valuable good windy spaces , doesnt look to good , moving parts mean there will be some to stop working . not all places get wind , not common, unreliable as permanent souce of energy (eg. no wind for two days), waste of space , kills animals eg. birds. if to windy could be dangerous.
