Wind Question?

ok, so can wind (like, high winds like we've been having lately) twist a big, metal sign (like mcdonalds or popeyes signs that you can see from the highway)????? plz help?

yes! God has a great power to do any thing. but anyhow science also explains that wind is a very power full and any thing in its way can be pushed down. twisting is very often because wind can easily change its course/direction within seconds. and that can cause the base of the poles or big signs shake or disturb and that can make them weak and prone to fall with few more wind pushes. also if something is in the way of the wind, it does not stop it but makes it more power full as the wind tries to escape from the little holes and corners of the stuff and the force becomes more concentrated against the object thus resulting the object to fall, torn or twist. the most important is the weight and height of the object in its way. the higher and bigger the object, more chances of getting effected by the wind !

Even some days so can see little vortexes what is called by many as a dust devil but not so strong they can twist a sign because that requires a  lot more energy than a dust devil can generate...
