Wind generators on sky scrapers?

Question

Most major cities have huge sky scrapers, where the wind is constantly moving, why haven't there been any efforts to put wind generators on these buildings? I work in down town Minneapolis, MN. it is always windy here. And don't say because they would look ugly, or ruin the sky line, they make compact wind generators for the tops of houses that would be hidden from view.

If the owners of the building want it, let them put it up.  It's easier to keep the two separate

There is one very, very practical reason that wind generators are not found up there - those devices vibrate rather violently, and the vibrations would quickly make the buildings untenable.  It's simply a matter of physics, son.
