Question:

Windex to kill japanese beetles

Japanese beetles are destroying our roses. Last year my family discovered that spraying the beetles with Windex kills them almost immediately. It appears to cause some sort of neurological problem and they freeze up. I'm wondering if anyone else has tried this, and if there are any possible negative effects to the environment or to my kittens.

  1. No I've never heard of that.  If it kills them and doesn't hurt your roses I'd say go for it.  It has to be better for the environment than the pounder stuff you could use and it should hurt your kittens.  Good Luck.
