Window defender help?

Question

ever since my AVG trial expires, and i download window one care onto my computer,

my window defender keep on saying that its turn off.

So i click it again so it would turn on, but it keep on saying they can't find anything or theres nothing.

on the bottom of my screen it has the red X from window security alerts, i have no idea how to fix it, and also sometimes my firewall turns off automatic.

the AVG can be renewed if you follow the registration steps. all you need is a valid email address.

as for the windows problem, go to start/control panel/windows firewall to turn it on. automatic updates can be changed in control panel/security center. firewall and anti-virus settings can also be changed.

I think you may have a spyware called antivirus 2008...if your using windows Vista, do a system restore to the day before your avg expired.

Then make sure you request a real registration or use avast which is an excellent FREE antivirus/teatimer protection. If you do choose avast, delete any other antivirus program you may have for it is useless to have two.

N.B.:When Defender or your Firewall gets attacked and disables itself it is a clear sign of a virus/spyware activity.
