Window is not wide enough. is it okay to install "Window room airconditionar" on its side?

I don't think so.  I'm pretty sure you would lose all of your freon.  The stuff that makes the cold air.

I think this would work but you will need to get foam insulation to put under top and bottom,  and seal on your sides.  It will create lot of extra work.  The air conditioner is a sealed system and nothing would leak out.  I would call manufacture first.  They will be the only one that knows for sure. They might say it will work but will not recommend it. Good Luck

You mean like literally turning it sideways and having half in and half out? Thats not a good idea, considering it would probably fall out, and you'd just be wasting your time because the air would all just blow out of the window if it's only half way in. You should just give up on that one. Sorry. :/
