I got my windows tinted on my Pontiac Sunfire and a did not like the way it turned out. The top part of my car as tiny black dots at the top of the windshiled that make it hard for the tint to stick in between them. The guy at the tint shop said that thats how they turn out on some cars. Has anyone else had this problem?

  1. I've seen it before, as you described it. Crappy deal, but I'm not aware of any way to make it work with those windshields.

  2. There are methods for solving this problem on your dot matrix.  Many techniques including using a glue that fills the void between the raised dots.

Savvy and experienced installation companies do know how to eradicate this problem!

  3. Yes I own a chevy cobalt that i tinted and because of the gradually sizing black dots on the windshield. I had to get a vinlyl replacement
