Window up or Window down when removing truck door panel?

Question

I am going to put new speakers in my truck soon. In order to due so i have to remove the door panel to get to them. I was just wondering if my window should be rolled up or rolled down when i remove the door panel?

does not matter. but when down sometimes it will be in the way

put the window down because the window up would be in the way since you are just going to remove the clips..my son redid a old car and took it all apart.. this is the way he did it. also you need to purchase special tools. if not risking the chance to break the clips inother words you"ll be loosing money because new clips can be price for certain models

its really a personal preference to you i prefer to have them down just cause you have to lift the panel up after you remove the screws and such, but this can also be done with the window up so its up to you i think down is easier
