Windows 2000XP Prof.(Service Pack 2)

I have a Texas Instruments CDC Ethernet/RNDIS Adapter installed on my computer. The Device Manager is telling me that all is not well with it, but does not tell me the problem; and reinstalling doesn't help. Do you have any insights that might help me?
