I gave one of my old (very old) computers to my neighbor for her kids and their school work. It is running Win98 and the problem is that they only speak spanish. How can I turn this english version into spanish? Is there a download for it? Or, would I have to go out and buy another version of Windows that is already spanish? Thanks

  1. Sorry to hear from another answerer that the Win 98 ver doesn't support a conversion to Spanish. But I found a few programs which claim in helping convert English to Spanish. Check them out here:

You could also try Google Search for more such programs, as only you would be able to understand if the software met your requirements.

Hope you find a solution to your problem.

  2. You'd have to buy a Spanish copy. Windows 98 wasn't coded internally for Unicode support, so each version contains different (and incompatible) workarounds to display Unicode characters.
