My friend have me his Windows 98 computer and he has so many games on there, and there's no way I could delete every thing on it. He bought it the very first day it came out, an when every I went to My Compute, and right clicked on Local Disk, and press format, it just said "Windows cannot format this drive because it has files in use by windows". I don't know if that means that it will delete EVERY THING from my computer or just everything that windows need to run. Please help me.

  1. You can't format a drive containing windows while running windows. To do this, insert the windows disk and then type format C: (C is the drive letter)

    Good luck

P.S it will delete everything on the drive
