Why is my CD not playing, it keeps saying "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The file may be formatted with an unsupported codec, or the Internet security setting on your computer is set too high. Lower your browser's security setting, and then try again." What do I do? I really need to watch this video! HELPP, pleasse.

  1. Try to get a new player. Maybe the file on the disc is not supported in Windows Media Player. download VLC player. This supports most of the video formats so you don't need to download any more codecs.

    download VLC here: http://www.videolan.org

  2. Try going to Free-Codecs.com. They have every codec you need to watch or listen to any file. When the error pops up it should most likely give you an option to figure out what codec you need, and then search for it on the website above. Or another thing is that if you have a firewall, it may be blocking it from working. If that's the case test it out by turning off your firewall.
