Windows Media Player won't play videos?

None of my videos will work. I have audio, but no video. They all worked fine as of a couple days ago. So I don't know what's going on with it. I've read something about codecs, but nothing I download seems to work. And suggestions would be appreciated. Please give a thorough description. Thanks.

  1. hi try k-lite full version @ http://www.free-codecs.com/k_lite_Codec_...

also get Vlc media player and Mpc media player

    you will be happy

  2. Windows media player does not support a lot of file formats and cannot play most videos. You could use Windows Photo Gallery, VLC media player, or some other video player. There is a lot of free ones online.

  3. ok this happened to me on my Xp they would play but cutt off half way but i could still hear the audio, i guess that there isnt enough RAM then i used a program called quicktime that used less RAM i could see the video perfectly ,i think quicktime is free mine came with the itunes package which was free
