Question:

Windows Media player plays video but no sound?

It says "codec acquired" and then plays the video only.

How can you fix this?

  1. Have you checked your volume controls? Sometimes, you'll have the main volume turned on, but the others off, which will not allow all sound to happen. Check that, maybe!
