Windows Movie Maker Extensions?

Question

I tried to use an AVI video file in Windows Movie Maker and it doesn't show a video and it will only have sound.

How would I fix it?

If he can't answer your question then no-one can!

It must be said, though, that WMM is not the best tool out there. Apparently CNET rated it 1 star out of 5 due to stability and response issues.
