Windows Movie Maker to Youtube???

Question

I don't know why it doesn't let me. But when I upload it on Youtube it always says Download Failed. Please nice answers. I'm new to this.

I used to have this problem.

Did you press publish movie when you were finished?

It should work find after you publish the movie

ok i know what to do . lol.. i ahd the same problem becuase it wasn`t a file they could upload.

1.) when yuh have finish yur movie/clip. go to the left hand side where it says "publish to" then click "this computer"

2.Then when the screen pop up comes up click next.[ yuh can edit the name if you want to]

3.Then select the part where it says "best quality for playback on my computer"

4.Then click next.

5. Now click where it says publish.

6. wait until the movie/clips downloads.

after thsi you can go and upload yur video on youtube.

[It switch the kind of file when you publish it to your computer.]

first of all, did u publish the movie when u were finished with it?

ok, then instead of going to the regualr upload page, go to "use multi video uploader." its on the right side of the page when ur at the regular uploading screen. yea, well click on it. btw, u do have to install it, but it only takes 1 minute. i know it says that its a multi video uploader, but u can upload only one video. follow the directions that there are. and u dont have to fill out the description and tags on that page. when the video is done uploading, go to my videos and edit all the info. hope this helped. cuz it worked for me. i used to have the same problem.

Make your movie using Windows Movie Maker, which comes as a free component of many computers. Save your file. This will put the movie in the MSWMM format which Movie Maker can read, but which YouTube cannot read.

Open your saved file.

Go to the file menu and click'Save Movie File.

Select My Computer

Click Next.

Enter a name for your file, and choose to store it in an easy-to-find place such as My Videos

Click Next.

Select the setting you want. Best quality for playback on my computer may be the recommended setting. Click Next and now you have a file saved in the WMV format, which is compatible with YouTube.

Go on YouTube.

Make sure you have an account and click Upload.

Fill in the forms.

Upload your video by clicking on Upload Video. The upload will take a little while.
