Windows Video Transfer Question?

Okay, I like making fan videos of avatar the last airbender on Windows Movie Maker. And I have a couple episodes on my Windows Media player, and I'm trying something new so I don't have to put a lot of effort into making my fan videos. So my question is, how do I transfer the videos from Windows Media Player, to Windows Movie Maker????? Please send step by step instructions on how to do it, since I'm not great a figuring things out myself...

If the videos are already on your computer, you would simply open them in Windows Movie Maker.

From the menu bar - File> Import into Collections...>

then select the video files from your computer's hard drive.
