  1. 1: You don't need to use caps for the first letter of every single word.

2: Vista is the problem. It is the most useless OS M$ has produced yet. On a computer BUILT specifically for vista ultimate, I've seen the computer move just as slow as some Windows 98s, because the system itself wastes more resources than needed.

  2. yes i know it's a pain in the *** but you have to have these up dates or it will keep telling u so

  3. I use Vista and it's just the way it works, it updates and demands a restart so let it do it from start to finish then it shouldn't keeping doing it.

  4. It's part of the Vista routine to keep you safe. Don't worry, once the updates are done, you're good to go.

  5. By a MacBook - problem solved!

  6. Its the way vista deals with updates.

It downloads them and then will ask to restart.

If you are not the impatient type, you will see on the close down screen "Windows is configuring updates - step 1 of 3 = 0% complete"

It needs time  and three steps usually to install those updates and you should not power off at this time otherwise you make cause installation errors at worse and just have to wait for the installs to complete the cycles on next power up  at best.
