Windows Vista Home Premium will not let me open...

After download files from My Dimension 2400 dell running Windows XP, I put My PNY Optima Pro Attache 4GB into my Inspiron 530 running Windows Vista Home Premiun and when I click removeable file (f) I get F: is not accessible The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.
