Question:

Windows Vista Startup Repair Problem (details inside)?

Last year I bought a new Dell Inspiron with Home Premium... unfortunately, I had to purchase the upgrade to Ultimate a week or so later when it wouldn't connect to the network (I don't know if this has anything to with the actually problem, I just thought I might add it). Anyways... when I finally got around to using my laptop, I noticed that it frequently says it needs to use Startup Repair. It doesn't fix anything and it keeps doing it at least a few times a week!

Help?

  1. Hi One

The best way to really repair your issues is to take your original disk and do a re-install through windows. This way, you will not lose any data whatsoever and it will rebuild a fresh registry which should solve your problems.
