I have Windows Vista on my hard disk. I want to make a bootable DVD from it so that I can reinstall it when it gets corrupt. Is there a program which makes files into a bootable DVD?

  1. Nero 8 has the option to create bootable DVD and you can add all the files from hard drive in that DVD.

  2. Windows Vista is already on a DVD. Just use that. Oh, you don't have your Windows media? I see.

    Nero 8 is good.

  3. You can use Nero 8 it has the option to create bootable DVD's and you can add all the files from hard drive in that DVD that you need. I've used it to make bootable DVD's for Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows XP PRO and Windows 2008 Server. I work in IT so I have to have a very good backup copy if anything get corrupted.
