Windows Vista start menu issue?

whenever i right click any icons in my startmenu i get a popup saying windows explorer has stopped working it then resests windows and continues...what is this and how does one fix it?

Run a spysweep/virus checker. If that finds nothing try ADvanced WindowsCare V2 PErsonal. It's free.

here is the checklist ...

have you run virus scan ??

did you have installed any new software / hardware ??

have you installed anything that is not compatible with your current OS ??

did you tried for system restore ??

i think all should solve your problem... if no.. then i think you are out of luck my friend ...
