Every time I try to run Windows Update, none of the updates will download. I get a message "error code 8007000B," and when I tried to go to the stupid Microsoft website, it says there is no fix for it. Also, all of the techies I have talked to are stumped. What the heck!?! Can someone help me with this!!???

  1. Not seen this one myself and I'm not sure if you've come across this solution but there's a couple of sites suggesting it with responses that it works:

An error occurs while running Windows Update on a Windows Vista machine:

    Code 8007000b

1.Click Start and type cmd in the Start Search box,

    2. Right-click cmd in the Programs list and select Run as administrator and click Continue

    3. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.

    4. Type fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\ and then press ENTER

    5. Restart the computer.

You should now be able to run Windows Update

  2. Add RAM. Vista takes , at least 1 GHz to run efficiently. 2 GHz. is perfect to run Vista and all other tasks. I, recently had the same dilemma. Good Luck!
