[Windows XP] Help With Start-Up!?

Question

There's a few things that I want to start-up with my computer, but I don't want them to all start-up at once and slow the computer down. Is there a way to delay or order the programs start-up?

I am using Windows XP!

i really cant answer at this time without knowing ,what you know about xp...you can go faster without going to the startup menu..but it can help..let me know if you want help..

Not unless you write a program that starts them up using timers.  Windows itself runs more than 1 program at a time so, basically, it starts all of them at once.

Uh, I am a programmer and I can make something for you. Besides, you can add the stuff to the startup folder in the start menu and it won't slow it down so much.
