I plugged in a T-Flash Card Reader 2.0 USB into my computer a few days ago and it came up in "My Computer" straight away. However just tried to transfer some files onto it and it isn't recognised by my pc. I googled my problem and quite a few things came up with the same problem but I cannot find a definitive way to get it to work. I'm starting to get really frustrated as there are only a few files to transfer.

I have tried leaving it plugged in while I restart, taking it out then restarting and inserting once its back on and even tried shutting down the whole system and unplugging at the wall but still can't get it up in "My Computer".

I would really appreciate it if you could tell me how to get it to work!!!

  1. try to change in other usb port , many times this usb port it's off. good luck!

  2. Here is one trick to try.

Remove the T-Flash Card reader from the computer.  Then  go into Device Manager and un-install the USB ports.

Then turn off the computer, XP will add the ports back automatically with new drivers and they should work.

  3. check the internet for a driver for it or if you have one uninstall it then replug in the flash card reader. The driver may hav been corrupted so by uninstalling it then it should reinstall it and work.
