  1. Its a virus that is telling you that you are infected. It asks you to do a full scan or to purchase it know?

Anyway google  for manual removal of windowsxp antivirus .

Many links are there, but each tells a different way. I was not affected by it anytime. So i can't say what will be the perfect removal solution.

But one thing is sure,it won't go by using any antivirus or anti spyware.

  2. Hello,

Download MalwareBytes AntiMalware & scan your pc to remove it. The Download & instructions link is below.

-Windows XP antivirus is a rogue antivirus program, that displays false information stating that you are infected, when your not infected. Windows XP antivirus IS The Virus. It also displays fake alerts on your computer which is just another tactic to scare you into purchasing the program.

    MalwareBytes AntiMalware- http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/mal...

Then use this Wallpaper Hijacker Removal Tool afterwards to fix your wallpaper & screensaver if needed- http://www.majorgeeks.com/Wallpaper_Hija...

(that shows you how worthless sometimes Norton is)

    ★GOOD LUCK ^_^

  3. Diva, the Windows XP AntiVirus you have, is the actual virus, paying them just makes your purse lighter while does nothing else to your infection.

Try download the lastest Home version of Avast, install and choose to scan when next restart, press option 2 to delete when found

  4. Go to http://www.cyber-defenders.com

Download and try it for free.  It is the best security you can get.

  5. If XpAntivirus has been installed on your system without your permission or you are seeing popup advertising or recommending that you use XpAntivirus your system is infected with the zlob trojan.

This is free....just update and scan.

  6. XP antivirus is a rogue. It scans and shows a false report. google it for removing procedure or try here:http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/malware-...
