Windows XP boots and opens folder in Windows...

Question

When I boot up my computer running Windows XP, a program folder opens in Windows Explorer. It happens to be C:Program FilesDell, but I doubt if that matters. I just have to close the window, but how do I prevent this from opening? It's a Dell Dimension 5100.
