  1. It sounds like your problem is much more than reformatting your hard drive.  Please give me more information on what the problem is.  Can you install windows okay?  Is it when you are downloading your game when the problem starts?  I just think more info is needed to diagnose your problem.

  2. Checkdisk probably isnt freezing. It just slows to a crawl. It can take 2-3 hours to complete. Try rerunnung it when you go to bed. If it hasnt completed by morning then its frozen. One more thing, if you have to reinstall windows again. Be sure to delete the partitions and then reset them. It could be keeping your old boot sectors and could be full of errors. By deleting the old partitions you really get a fresh copy

  3. Your question opens up alot more questions that I would ask if we were in person:

    (a couple important ones)

    How old is the computer?

How long and often have you been reformatting the machine?

What is the last upgrade you added/changed about the machine physically?

When I hear that someone is having trouble with a computer they are attempting to game with I wonder if they upgraded their videocard without checking the minimum power supply requirements.

  4. Does the file contain virus's ? did you go to your Task manager and in the processes, end debugger.exe process ? Most large or accelerated games will not load if the debugger process is running ! Try that !

  5. do actully know what is the problem ?

or do you have any Idea?

the best suggestion I can give u is to

After u Installed your OS clean and neat Install waht ever programms u want then install Symantec Norton Ghost & do a Defragmentation & take a back up of your Windows Drive ,

Now burn your backup onto DVD(s)

from now on whwnever u had problems you can just do a restore ,

THAT WILL TAKE LONG AS COPYING A DVD too ;)
