Windows XP with service pack 3?

What's the word on Service Pack 3 for Windows XP? Is it any good or will it possibly cause more harm than good?

I've heard of only two major snafus with SP3.  One entailed an endless reboot on machines with AMD processors and the other put a ton of entries in the Registry and showed empty device and network connection lists on some machines with Symantec processes.  For the fix for this one, see this link:

Theres alot of bugs.

When I upgraded to SP3 my computer keep crashing and had to reformatt back to SP2

SP3 is just a collecting of all the updates that were released previously!

There was nothing new in the SP3 update if you comp was up to date with windows updates!

dont do it! lol I'd let them work out the bugs first. I know HP pc's had an issue w/ it and it threw the pc into a constant reboot... eeek! I have xp pro and Im sticking w/ sp2.
