i em stuck in Figuring out the theme of Windows a short story by bernice Morgan.... ?

what is the exactly Theme of this short story?

  4. the main theme is hope and desire.
    The lady in the story is surounded by a world of poverty, and decay, so in her mind she feels as if she is dying, but when the old building is torn down, she feels a new sence of hope.  the window is a symbole of hope. when the old one smashes in, it is replaced by a new one, it shows how she is transformed from a "dying old lady" to a hopeful, and lively lady.
