Windows installer. 'access denied'...how to fix it. help asap

HELLO

i am trying to install windows installer from the MS site....i have ORIGINAL xp.

I click on the icon to install, and it stops halfway and says access is denied...click ok to undo changes....

now cos of that norton 2008 wont work....

what could be the problem

you don't have administrator rights of the computer !

Maybe first ask in the relevant section..This is cricket...

Go to Computers or yahoo products,plenty of people there who can help you..

go to internet settings and properties - click on the "im in the wring section in Y!answers" then reboot the computer and count to 547 and restart.  if it doesnt work, try again..
