Windows media player help.?

Question

I want to do a music mashup but I don't know how to work it. I tried pressing mute then the whole thing was muted, I tried the volume control but that dosen't work I've tried everything.

I want to do a video which has music on it but layer a different piece of music on it but then it's just a combination of both pieces of music.

Please help!

go to windows movie maker , put the video in and add overlapping songs
