i have a mac book and for some reason am unable to download windows media player on my computer

PLEASE HELP

this is driving me crazy

  1. I know there was an older version of Windows Media Player that was Mac compatible that you could download from the Microsoft website.  I'm not sure if it's still available, but there is a good possibility.  It seems that there should be at least a web plug-in edition that works with a Mac, but I don't know of one.  Does it give you an option to download a missing plug-in on whatever site you are trying to watch videos on?
