Windows media player wont play my 3gp file type videos. does anyone know how to change the file type?

  1. No need to convert the file. Just use Quicktime or Real Player will do


  2. Dude, no need of conversion. Just use any codec pack like Klite Mega codec pack(available all over internet for free). YOu will be able to play most of the file types incl. 3gp, flv,....

  3. download a video convertor  and maybe try to upgrade your windows media

  4. check on download.com

  5. You got 2 options

    1.  Convert your file in to a mpeg file.  You need a converter to do this.

    2.  You can download a codec for your pc. download CCCP (Combined Community Codec pack), install it, and try running the file un 3gp format again. (I recommend this)
