Windows movie maker keeps freezing???

Question

Whenever I try to adjust the music by making it shorter, the program freezes and I have to shut it down. Why is this happening? What can I do to fix it??

Windows Movie Maker is the free choice for video editing but isn't very good software. It constantly closes when your in the middle of something for no reason. Your not doing anything wrong and there is no way to fix it. CNET give's it a 1 star rating and doesn't recommend it for any user.
