Windows movie maker question about audio ?

with out any videos can i split songs and save them as an audio ?

Yes.

1. Put your song on the Audio/Music track.

2. Play the song and pause it where you want to split. The clip should be selected. Or just drag the blue bar on the timeline to where you want to split.

3. Go to the Clip Menu and choose Split. (or use Ctrl + L).

That's it.

When you save your file it will create a .wma audio file.
