Windows movie maker will not import my music on their and i do not know what 2 do please help????

when i import music this pops up

The file c:\Users\Rene&Aliah\AppData\Roaming\Micr... cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.

Did you follow these procedures? What version of WMM do you use?
