Windows my pictures doesn,t show a preview photo any more?

Question

all i get is a tile with a img no. and a yaught sailing in to the sunset, its driving me nuts i used to get all the photo showing up ,now i have to open them to see what they are, please help choppersean

Click rectangular box icon(views) , next to folders  icon

in my pictures menus,

click thumbnails
