Windows tinting ticket - how to handle it.?

I got the ticket (last week) for window tinting for my car which brought around 10 years back. I got the tinting as part of new car sales deal, I explained same to police, he didn't believe it.

Any advise how to handle this?

you can go to a timting company and have them put a "lighter timt" on and then go to court with a light transparency test from the tint company and it will tell the court that your windows are legall. or if you feel that they are legallytinted you can have the tint company test the windows with the light and they will tell you if they are legal.. i know this because i have done it in the past. you can even take a diff car there with lighter tint and have them say that it is legal.and take that info to the court.
