  1. lol I did that so many times and got freaked out forgetting how to get it back so many times. But its really easy, u just open your start menu. Then, u clik on computer. There should be a little menu on the left. Recycle Bin should be one of those icons. You just clik n drag it to your desktop.

tada all done. hope this helps =)

  2. You can add or remove common desktop icons, including shortcuts to the Computer folder, your personal folder, the Network folder, the Recycle Bin, and Control Panel, by following these steps.

    Click to open Personalization.

In the left pane, click Change desktop icons.

Under Desktop icons, select the check box for each icon that you want to add to the desktop, or clear the check box for each icon that you want to remove from the desktop, and then click OK.

  3. You can send a shortcut to your desktop, follow these steps:

RIGHT click START > left click Explore >

scroll down towards the bottom of the Explore tree in the left pane > find Recycle Bin >

RIGHT click Recycle Bin > select Shortcut > Send Shortcut to desktop

    Done

  4. I did the same thing the other day with my first use of Vista. The problem is that Vista has a delete option when you right click on the icon. In Windows XP and every other OS, there's no delete in the right click for the recycle bin because that's preposterous! I had to go to control panel and appearance and desktop to click the box to put the recycle bin back.

  5. Ok JP. This is a pretty staight-forward problem to fix. All you need to do is right click on the desktop, click on the personalize option. Now a window will pop up. You will notice on the left hand side of this window, there is a couple of items listed. Choose the one that says something about desktop icons. Once you do this a second window will appear with a bunch of check boxes in it. One of these will be your recycle bin. simply make this box checked and click apply. Your recycle bin will then reappear.

  6. Just right click your desktop, go to personalize, look on the left under tasks, then click change desktop icons and add your recycle bin again
