i installed a game but after that my mouse froze up. well, i thought, usual thingy, i'll just restart my computer. i did. now whenever i turn it on, all i see is a BLACK screen showing... nothing! i don't know what to do. should i do system restore or what from the vista's dvd? but i have an upgrade version, not the "installation" on. so, how do i fix it? is it just a video card/some other hardware problem? (except for hard drive of course) or it's a virus? i don't think it's a virus because i have the best antivirus ever according to av-comparatives.org or somthing. so, please, i need the answer asap. thanx

  1. try to let it run in the black screen sometime vista after a little while is gonna star again that will helps by the way vista sucks

  2. It is probably a registry problem and not a virus. Run your PC on Safe mode and run a registry cleaner scan to find out if you have registry problems. You can go to the link below for a free scan.

  3. how did you ask this question if your computer isnt working?..that makes no sense at all....

  4. Try Popping in your Vista DVD boot from the DVD and try startup repair errors and that doesn't happen, try system restore from the DVD, This should work
