Windows xp activation code. i had windows millenium om ny pc but my pc went wrong so it was fixed

i had windows millenium om ny pc but my pc went wrong so it was fixed by someone but he installed windows xp.and now its asking me for a activation code for windows xp i have 1 day to do it but dnt have a book with code on it.help!!!!!! plz
