  1. Passable loose set s***w but unlikely most likely someone probably tried to force it and stripped it this also happens when people don't remove the snow and expect the wipers to move the heavy load. remove the set s***w cover. bottom of wiper arm. remove retaining nut and lift the arm off. check the drive are the teeth filled with aluminum. check inside wiper arm is the hole smooth are are there teeth. if the teeth are gone then you need a new wiper arm. Good luck

  2. There is only 1 wiper motor and a few bars that control the arms.  It's possible that 1 bar fell off.  Turn the wipers on and have a look through the cowl.  If you see a bar not moving or connected the plastic bushing probably wore out, and 1 end of the bar fell off. Also there are no set screws holding the arms on, the arms are splined and you need to lift the wiper blade a few inches off the windshield and pull out a little lock tab that holds the arm up, then pull the arm off the splined shaft.  Check the splines to make sure thay are not worn smooth, as well as the splines inside the arm.

  3. the linkage broke between the driver side and passenger side wiper...a super easy problem to fix your self.  usually its like a $20 part

  4. Since one wiper works - the motor works.

Check and make sure that the "set s***w" that attaches the wiper arm to the drive mechanism is tight - it probably just came loose.  Or you may have to just replace the entire wiper arm/blade assembly.

  5. Linkage for the other side must be broken. Have a mechanic fix it, they are a PITA to work on.

  6. So, the driver's side wiper arm moves, but not the passenger side?
